Family Advocacy Day (FAD) is the Children’s Hospital Association’s marquee patient advocacy event in Washington, D.C. For more than 20 years, we have brought patient stories straight to our nation’s policymakers, highlighting the need to create better tomorrows for children through legislation and policy. Our theme, Team CHA, captures our shared journey toward strengthening pediatric care.
We are pleased to once again be able to offer in-person programming in 2022. It has been a long two years, and so many of you are looking forward to getting together to network and learn from each other in a non-virtual environment. CHA is committed to providing a safe environment for attendees to meet in-person and has adopted a “full vaccination required” approach for all attendees and staff who plan to attend an in-person event. “Fully vaccinated” means two weeks have passed since a person received a single-shot vaccine or the second dose of a two-shot vaccine. If these requirements are not met, in-person attendance is not allowed. Be prepared to upload a .jpg or PDF image of your COVID-19 vaccination record card during the registration process.
For some events, we will offer designated sessions as virtual options. You can register for these sessions by choosing the virtual registration option which enables us to confirm your participation. Additional information about the virtual options will be provided by the program lead.
